1. Who these terms are between.
Wellplease is provided by Wride Ventures LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These terms apply to the Wellplease app, wellplease.com, and our associated services. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the services. You must be legally able to agree to these terms, or have a parent or legal guardian agree on your behalf where permitted by law.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information and the choices you have. Permissions to read health data, connect Oura, and share a summary with AI are separate choices; using the website does not grant those permissions.
2. A wellness companion.
Wellplease helps you understand personal sleep, readiness, and activity trends. Its scores are estimates based on the available data and our own wellness algorithms. Missing measurements, device limitations, and changes to those algorithms can affect the results. Scores from different services use different methods and are not interchangeable.
Wellplease is not a medical device or a healthcare provider. Scores, insights, and AI guidance are for general wellness information, not diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice. Do not use them for emergencies or to replace professional care. Discuss health concerns and significant changes to exercise, diet, or treatment with a qualified professional. If you need urgent help, contact your local emergency services.
3. Your data and connected services.
You decide which Apple Health categories the app can read. The app does not change your Apple Health records. You can adjust permissions in your iPhone’s settings and clear imported data in Wellplease Settings. Because local health files are excluded from backups, clearing them or losing access to your device can remove your saved app history and check-ins.
Oura is optional and requires your authorization. When available, the connection displays Oura’s daily sleep, readiness, and activity scores separately from Wellplease’s own scores. An eligible Oura account and membership may be required. Oura controls its service, data availability, and account requirements. We are an independent app and do not represent Oura or Apple. Connecting does not transfer ownership of your data to us.
You can disconnect Oura in Wellplease Settings to delete this app’s saved Oura scores and credentials. To revoke the authorization at Oura, also remove Wellplease from your Oura account’s connected applications. These actions do not delete your records held by Oura or Apple Health. Third-party services remain subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
4. Optional AI coaching.
Before each coaching request, you can review the summary that will be sent through our service to OpenAI and decide whether to share it. Scores downloaded through the Oura connection are not included in that summary. The Privacy Policy describes processing and retention.
AI can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable suggestions, even when they sound confident. Consider your circumstances and professional advice before acting on a recommendation. We do not guarantee particular health, fitness, sleep, or other results.
5. Free access and usage limits.
Wellplease currently has no subscription or payment requirement. Free coaching includes one daily guidance request every 24 hours and two deeper analyses every seven days per app installation. A shared daily service limit may temporarily pause coaching. The app shows your available allowance and when you can request guidance again.
Access also depends on device compatibility, internet connectivity, and service availability. We may change features or free allowances, with notice of material changes through the app or website. If we introduce paid features later, we will show the price and terms before you choose to purchase. These terms do not enroll you in a future subscription or authorize a charge. Any third-party hardware or membership costs are separate.
6. Using Wellplease responsibly.
Use the services lawfully and only with data you are authorized to access. Do not bypass usage limits or security checks, access another person’s data without permission, disrupt the services, or use them to harm others. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, or legal requirements. You can stop using the services at any time; data removal options are in our Privacy Policy.
We and our licensors retain rights in the app, website, branding, and original content. You may use Wellplease for your personal wellness needs under these terms. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. For the iOS app, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also governs the software license; these terms cover our website and services and do not replace that license.
7. Availability and warranties.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Wellplease and connected services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free results, or that any service will meet every individual need. Beta features may change or be discontinued.
To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all express and implied warranties for the services, including on behalf of third-party service providers such as Oura. This includes implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Any warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded remain in effect.
8. Responsibility and your legal rights.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, neither Wride Ventures LLC nor third-party service providers, including Oura, are liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the services.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or other conduct where the law prohibits limitation. These terms do not take away mandatory consumer rights or remedies available under the laws that apply to you.
9. Changes to these terms.
We may update these terms as Wellplease evolves. We will publish the revised terms with an updated date and provide notice through the app or website before material changes take effect. Where required, we will ask for your agreement. Changes do not retroactively remove accrued rights. If you do not agree to the updated terms, stop using the affected services.
